Dear UHOA members,

A few years back, our former Chairman and founder Dr. B.M Kibirige moved a motion to create a UHOA General Managers Board, which would be the technical committee to advise the Executive Council on issues affecting the sector. It would also be a forum for all UHOA General managers to meet and share ideas in order to address the challenges that affect our sector.
On behalf of  the Chair lady and the UHOA Executive Council, it is my pleasure to introduce the current Chairman of the UHOA General Managers Board, Mr Ian Duncan (Sheraton Hotel) and the Vice Chairman Mr Anthony Chege (Serena Hotel).
Mr Duncan and Mr Chege are both very passionate about the hotel sector and are very keen to steer our sector to greater heights.
The UHOA Secretariat will be organizing the first meeting of the UHOA General Managers. Date, time and venue will be communicated shortly. In the meantime, we request all UHOA members to please send in your most pressing problems which will constitute the agenda for the meeting. The resolutions of the meetings will then be presented to the UHOA Executive Council who will then advise the Secretariat on implementation. 
I will be in attendance at all meetings as the Executive Council representative.
We would like to encourage all UHOA GM's to make this a very vibrant forum. We encourage all of you to turn up in big numbers to discuss issues that affect our operations and find some solutions to these problems. 
I would also like to take the opportunity to thank Mr Duncan and Mr Chege for taking on this task and we pledge our support in making this forum a success.
